Company ProfileCaribbean’s Best, LLC was conceived
in January 2002 and is located in the southeastern United States in Waycross,
Georgia. Our Belizean affiliate company, Crustaceans Ltd., primarily grows
Vannamei Shrimp, commonly known as Pacific White Shrimp, using large
aquacultural ponds. Crustacean's principle offices are located in the Mango
Creek region of the beautiful Central American country of Belize, Central
America. Both companies are owned and managed by
U.S. citizens. Aquaculturally grown Premium White
Shrimp are considered by many to be the finest tasting shrimp in the world. We
control and monitor the life cycle of our shrimp to meet the highest
international standards. Our shrimp are environmentally friendly because no nets
are used which may kill innocent turtles and other sea life. Only the finest
commercial feeds and the best growing conditions meet our strict standards. All
of our shrimp are packed in HACCP approved processing facilities approved by the
United States Department of Agriculture to ensure the highest quality product. Shrimp farming has changed drastically over the past decade. Rapid improvements in technology and management techniques have produced a more efficient industry than ever before. Slowly, more farms are developing to meet the world’s need for shrimp and other seafood.
Our priorities include:
1. Freshness: ·The product is delivered for processing within hours, not days or weeks as is often the case with wild, ocean caught shrimp.
2. Quality: ·Vigorous quality control assures that our product is packed to the highest industry standards.
3. Process & Habitat Control: ·On our farm, we actively manage what our shrimp eat and what conditions they have lived in for their entire life cycle.
4. Year round availability: ·The climate in Belize allows us to grow shrimp throughout the year, ensuring minimal shelf time and a stable supply.
5. Environmental friendly farming: ·Proper farm design and process implementation are keys to success. We work hard to ensure the environment and mother nature is protected in every way.
